The Canon EOS 7D was announced on the 1st September 2009 and today, just over three months since it was announced DPReview has reported the release of the much anticipated second firmware update for the new dual purpose (video and stills) beast. Does something sound all to Microsoftish about this camera? Release first and fix later.
One must wonder how many of those first batch buyers are pulling their hair out at this point… hey maybe I should ask my uncle-in-law who bought one two weeks ago.
In Canon’s defence though, at least it has not taken them to long to fix the issues reported after the first firmware update.
